1. Who we are

2. What these terms cover

These terms apply to every order placed in this store. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not limit any right that the consumer law of your country of residence gives you and that cannot be waived.

3. Products

We sell printed books by Alessandro Catorcini, each printed to order, and, in some countries, audiobooks and ebooks delivered by download. Each product page states the language and format of the edition.

4. Prices and payment

Prices are shown in the currency of your country or region. The total you pay, including delivery, is shown at checkout before you confirm the order. Payment is taken when you place the order, by the payment methods offered at checkout.

5. Order and contract

Your order is an offer to buy. The contract is made when we confirm the order by email. We may decline an order, for example if a title cannot be printed or delivered to your address; in that case we refund any payment in full.

6. Delivery

Delivery destinations, charges and estimated times are set out in the Shipping policy. The risk of loss passes to you when you, or a person you named, take possession of the book.

7. Withdrawal, returns and faulty products

Your right of withdrawal and the rules for damaged or misprinted books are set out in the Refund policy. Buyers in the European Union and the United Kingdom have the legal guarantee of conformity provided by their national law.

8. Copyright

The books and all content of this store are protected by copyright. Buying a book or a digital file gives you the right to read or listen to it for personal use. It does not give you the right to copy, share or resell digital files.

9. Liability

We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever the law does not allow liability to be limited. Otherwise our liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract.

10. Personal data

We process your data to handle your order, as described in the Privacy policy.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you also keep the protection of the mandatory rules of your country of residence, and you may bring a claim before the courts of that country. We may update these terms. The version in force when you place your order applies to that order.
